Ever wondered why a competitor's store converts better than yours? The apps and theme they use tell the whole story. Paste their URL and find out in seconds.
Sorry, but it looks like the website you entered is not based on Shopify. This detector currently supports Shopify websites only.
Why use Shopify App & Theme Detector?
Spy on competitors. See exactly which apps power a store that's outperforming yours. Find their review app, upsell tool, or conversion optimizer and decide if it's worth trying on your own store.
Find the right apps faster. Stumbled upon a store with a feature you love? Detect which app is behind it instead of spending hours searching the Shopify App Store.
Audit your own store. See which apps are still loading on your front-end. Every unused app slows down your store and hurts your page speed and conversion rate.
Identify any Shopify theme. See the exact theme a store is running, its price, and its rating before you spend time evaluating it yourself.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if a store is built on Shopify? ▼
The easiest way is to paste the store URL into the detector above. It will confirm whether the store runs on Shopify and show its theme and apps. You can also check the page source for references to myshopify.com or Shopify's CDN.
Can I see all apps a Shopify store is using? ▼
The detector finds apps that leave visible traces in the store's front-end code. Most popular apps are detectable. Custom or private apps that aren’t listed in the Shopify App Store won’t be shown.
How do I find what theme a Shopify store is using? ▼
Paste the store URL into the detector above and click Detect. The tool will show the theme name, its price on the Shopify Theme Store, its rating, and a direct link to the theme page.
Can the store owner see that I checked their store? ▼
No. The detection is read-only and anonymous. The store owner has no way of knowing you used the tool. You may appear as a regular visitor in their analytics, just like anyone else browsing their site.
Why can't I detect some apps? ▼
Some apps are built to be invisible in the front-end code, especially back-office tools like inventory management, email platforms, or fraud detection. These don't inject scripts into the storefront and cannot be detected by any external tool, including this one.
